COSPAR - ESA Colloquium "Acceleration and heating in the magnetosphere". Second announcement and call for papers

The next COSPAR (with support of ESA) colloquium entitled "Acceleration and Heating in the Magnetosphere" will be held in Konstancin Jeziorna, a small town with convenient connections to Warsaw, Poland from February 6 to 10, 2001. The meeting will provide a forum to review recent results of the magnetospheric missions (Interball, Polar, Fast, Geoatail, Astrid and others) and initiate new contacts among members of the ISTP science team. For this reason, participation by ISTP and ground-based researchers as well as the theoreticians working in the space plasma field is particularly welcome. Please note the following crucial dates

-preregistration by 31 October 2000
-financial support request by 1 December 2000
-deadline for abstract submission 15 December 2000
-final registration and reservation 10 January 2001

After review and acceptance, papers presented during this meeting will be published in the Elsevier COSPAR Colloquium Series.
