The Committee on Space Research may recognize as COSPAR Associated Supporters or Partners public or private organizations or individuals wishing to support the Committee's activities. Associated Supporters are recognized by COSPAR in the Committee's publications and public events. Associated Supporters may also use the title "COSPAR Associated Supporter" in their public activities for the totality of the period for which they retain their status. They are kept informed of all the Committee's scientific programs and activities, and the President of COSPAR seeks their views on Committee policies and activities. Furthermore, registration fees are waived for one representative of each Associated Supporter for COSPAR Scientific Assemblies and Colloquia held during the period for which the appropriate adherence fee has been paid. Partners are acknowledged in COSPAR materials.
