4th COSPAR Symposium

COSPAR will hold its fourth Symposium in Herzliya, Israel, 4 - 8 November 2019, with a focus on Small Satellites for Sustainable Science and Development.  Information on the scientific program and other relevant links, including to abstract submission, registration, accommodation, and other matters, will come on-line as they become available at http://www.cospar2019.org/Program now posted and abstract submission open.   Deadline for submission of abstracts:  30 April 2019.

Life Sciences in Space Research (LSSR) Publishes 150th Article!

The editors of LSSR are pleased to announce that COSPAR's newest journal has published its 200th article!.

To celebrate this milestone, there is free online access to LSSR’s current featured article until 11th June 2019: 'Beyond planetary protection: What is planetary sustainability and what are its implications for space research?'

More exciting news for LSSR - the journal has been accepted for SCIE, Science Citation Index Expanded, and will receive its first Impact Factor (for 2018) this year. The journal is already included in MEDLINE/PubMed.

Advances in Space Research: 2017 Impact Factor

The 2017 Impact Factor for ASR is 1.529, up from 1.401 in 2016, a 9% increase and at its highest ever.

ISSI / ISSI-BJ Joint Call for Proposals 2019 for International Teams in Space and Earth Sciences

The International Space Science Institute (ISSI) in Bern, Switzerland, and ISSI-BJ in Beijing, China, invite proposals for establishing International Teams to conduct on its premises research activities in Space Sciences, based on the interdisciplinary analysis and evaluation of data from spacecraft and possible integration with ground data and theoretical models.
