COSPAR is proud to announce the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) as of 28 April 2025. With the new MoU, COSPAR will enhance its longstanding cooperation with UNOOSA. This collaboration will emphasize space-based science, technology, and applications in areas such as improving quality of life, addressing environmental impacts, and supporting disaster management. The cooperation will also aim to promote planetary protection, and advance space weather research. By working more closely, initiatives related to space-based data utilization, environmental monitoring, and the sustainable use of outer space will be advanced, aligning efforts to address global challenges through space science and technology.
