The EXPLORE (EXpeditionary Program for Learning OppoRtunities in analog space Exploration) project, in which COSPAR is a partner, invites students to propose a scientific experiment to be carried out during the second EXPLORE mission at the Mars Analog Research Station at OLA – Observatório do Lago Alqueva in Monsaraz, Portugal. Proposals must focus on simulated Mars surface activities and use only the materials available in the EXPLORE Mission Physical and Virtual Toolkits. The best proposals will feature in the mission report and will be highlighted during the EXPLORE Community Days. Deadline: 1 March 2026.
