It’s the last few days for teachers to enter their students’ work in the StAnD image competition. Students As Planetary Defenders (StAnD), an Erasmus+ project supported by COSPAR, launched a competition earlier this year to encourage students to create their own astronomy images with professional robotic telescopes. Selected images will be included in the StAnD 2027 calendar, featured in a dedicated gallery on the project website and presented during the 46th COSPAR Scientific Assembly, giving full credit to the work of the students and schools taking part.
To help teachers get started, they can watch a webinar on using the Schools Observatory robotic telescopes.
