For over six decades, COSPAR has been at the forefront of advancing international scientific research in space, dedicated to fostering peace and cooperation on a global scale. In 2024, we are set to embark on the implementation of COSPAR’s strategic plan for 2024-2028. This plan places a significant emphasis on new missions, an expanded role within the international space sector, nurturing the next generation of scientists, and identifying pathways for sustainability and growth.
The ever-evolving space ecosystem necessitates that COSPAR broaden its horizons and influence by making substantial contributions in strategic domains such as space weather, planetary science, the new era of space exploration and astronomy, space sustainability, and climate science.
We are delighted to extend an invitation for you to participate in the 45th Scientific Assembly of COSPAR, scheduled to take place between July 13 – 21, 2024, at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea. Under the theme of “Team Spirit in Space Research,” COSPAR 2024 promises a wealth of opportunities to exchange groundbreaking research findings, share expertise, build professional networks, and cultivate international friendships. Abstract submission continues through 9 February 2024.
The Call for hosting COSPAR 2028 is now available with a deadline for submission of 15 February 2024.
