COSPAR honors the memory of Roger Bonnet, whose life was devoted to the advancement of space research and international scientific cooperation. As a distinguished scientist and former President of COSPAR from 2002 to 2010, Professor Bonnet leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inform, guide, and inspire future generations of researchers and leaders in space science. His COSPAR presidency was marked by a profound sense of responsibility and an unwavering dedication to progress. He championed international dialogue, fostered emerging talent, and strengthened the role of science as a bridge between cultures. May his legacy continue to guide us, and may his memory remain a lasting source of inspiration for space scientists worldwide.
